Feet Of A Dancer (9/1) scored at the third attempt at Wexford today, landing the opening Wexford (Mares) Maiden Hurdle for trainer Paul Nolan and jockey Sean O'Keeffe.
Out of nine-time winner Leah Claire, Feet Of A Dancer had to avoid loose horse Blondesandbubbles which had carried out leader Double Pink at the fourth hurdle, in the home straight but stayed on well to eventually defeat another four-year-old filly Zefania
Nolan, who is set to run Sandor Clegane, HMS Seahorse and Western Zara at Cheltenham this month, reported “Feet Of A Dancer ran well the last day and has improved mentally. She jumped well today and it was a case of avoiding the loose one. I don't know how strong a race it was but she has won anyway and is a young filly.
"We'll see what mark she gets and something like the Lartigue at Listowel could be a race for her later on in the year. She owned by Phil Byrne who is a very good owner in the yard and hopefully she will step up and keep going forward."
