Adrian McGuinness has clearly found the key to Cherry Pink with the Elzaam bay registering her second career success in the Gilna's Cottage Inn Handicap.
Without a win in 17 starts for previous connections, the four-year-old is now two from four since joining the Co Dublin outfit.
Available at 5/1 in early shows for this six-furlong affair, the 55-rated victor eventually went off an 11/4 joint-favourite.
Settled in rear by Adam Caffrey, she made good progress on the outer from the two-furlong pole and swept to the front with 200 yards to race, keeping on well from there to score by half-a-length.
Rated just 44, Spirit Of Eagles (18/1) ran her best race for a while to finish second under Shane O'Callaghan, while easy-to-back UK raider Mokkaatil (6/1 from 3s) was another length and a quarter away in third.
The other joint-favourite was Gavin Cromwell's Rumbled Again with this one finishing fifth after being supported from 8/1.
"I thought this would be too quick for her, she is not a sprinter. I just said 'we are going' and decided to run her," McGuinness commented.
"I definitely did think it would be too sharp for her, but he (Caffrey) was very good on her. He gave her a chance early doors and she did it well.
"She has (options in Dundalk on Friday) - we'll see what the handicapper does to her as I'd love to go to Listowel next week with her. She's better with a dig (in the ground) I thought, over a further trip, so we'll see."
