The Tommy Stack trained Castor justified 4/9 favouritism in the opening Hot Press (C&G) Median Auction Maiden at Limerick today.

Ridden by Billie Lee, the son of Fasliyev tracked the leaders, moved through to lead early in the straight before staying on for a neck win over Gagnant

Afterwards Stack's son Fozzy reported "Castor was held up for three or four days recently with a bruised foot. He may go for a handicap next."
