Charles Byrnes saddles a pair of runners for the Byrnsey Boys Syndicate at Ballinrobe on Monday evening, both of whom are seeking compensation for defeats at the Galway Festival 12 days ago.
Byrnes has booked top jockey Paul Townend for both and Denham Sound can get his night off to the best possible start in the Burleigh Accountancy Handicap Hurdle.
The daughter of Champs Elysees struggled to land a telling blow on the Flat at the Ballybrit venue but has won her last two starts in this sphere and was most impressive when exploiting a mark of 103 at Limerick last month.
Stable companion Rosie Alice was the subject of significant gamble in the market for a mares handicap hurdle at Galway the same day and was arguably an unlucky loser.
The Beneficial mare wasn't beaten far by Miss Eyecatcher and was briefly short of room under Davy Russell before they turned for home. She lines up in the Broderick's Electrical Handicap Hurdle and will be out to make amends.
Willie Mullins saddled the winner of the Cummins Homevalue Hardware Flat Race 12 months ago and boasts sound claims this year with Diamond Hill a stoutly-bred daughter of Beat Hollow who is closely related to the likes of Blackstairmountain and Imperial Hills.
Mullins also saddles just the two runners on the card and Fabulous Saga should go very close in the Bank Of Ireland Maiden Hurdle.
Ruby Walsh takes the ride aboard this son of Saint Des Saints and the Tipperary bumper winner is expected to know his task going hurdling for the first time.
Walsh teams up with his father Ted Walsh courtesy of Minnie Dahill when action gets underway at 5.30 in the J.J. Burke Peugeot 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle.
She is an interesting contender on her hurdling debut, but similar sentiments apply to course scorer Thomas O'Malley who is sure to be popular. Don't Let Go sets the standard in the Maloney & Matthews Mares Maiden Hurdle, while Ben Rumson should be thereabouts in the Supermac's Ballinrobe Handicap Hurdle.
