Bosco sends favourite backers home happy
Bosco Di Alco and Finny Maguire get the better of Jimmy Breekie

Bosco Di Alco and Jimmy Breekie had a good tussle over the closing stages of the Glenpatrick Sport Horses INH Flat Race and it was the former that came out on top under Finny Maguire.
Maguire had also partnered the bumper winner at Tipperary last evening on Miss Eyecatcher, and here he got the Glen Howitt-owned and Liz Doyle-trained Bosco Di Alco home by a length and a half from Jimmy Breekie to justify his position at the top of the market (3/1).
Miss Doyle said: "He thought he was in Hickstead when he ran in his point-to-point - he gave everything three feet. He just jumped himself out of it. He was a real baby last year. He ran a beautiful race and improved a stone since the last day in Punchestown.
"I thought Finny might have over-rode him but we got there in the end because he's not really a bumper horse. I think he's quite good actually. He's the last of the Dom Alco's. They have been lucky for us now. I was very impressed with the last half furlong the way he was going away. A good horse I'd say."
