Bolger in form at Gowran Park
The Jim Bolger trained Ceannline got off the mark when landing the Open Singles Every Thursday At Gowran Park Golf Club Maiden under Kevin Manning.
Manning had his mount in front from over one and half furlongs out and kept on well despite hanging left close home to record a length and a quarter win over Prayer Boat
Winning trainer Bolger said afterwards: "Hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on her and we'll get another opportunity."
"She'd probably get ten furlongs, she's a nice big filly and will probably go jumping in time. She would also make a lovely brood mare, she has plenty of prospects."
Bolger who was successful with Akdarena earlier in Navan commented: "She doesn't to do a whole lot at home and hopefully she'll line up in the Irish Oaks."
