Jim Bolger placed the ‘for sale’ sign on Admodum following the gelding’s third career success at Naas today, as he landed the concluding Royal Ascot Trials Day May 21st Handicap under the trainer’s son-in-law and stable jockey Kevin Manning.
The son of Majestic Warrior had won his previous race at Dundalk in February and today kept on well in the closing stages for a half length win over Turbine
Bolger had, fifteen minutes earlier, bred the Down Royal bumper winner His Dream and following Admodum’s success the trainer was keen on finding a new home for his latest winner, saying “we got a bit of luck which you need in those handicaps.
“He'll be hitting the highway as we have to make room and will get an entry for the July Sales unless some of the jumping fellas come looking for him.”
