Rachael Blackmore recorded her second double of the eighteen day old season, as she guided Millen Dollar Man to victory in the Sliabh Na mBan Handicap Hurdle.
The champion conditional rider registered a brace at Cork on May 5th, winning aboard Supreme Vinnie on the level at Killarney on Tuesday, and earlier taking the opener on Nicaragua
Without a win in twenty-six starts, Millen Dollar Man was sent off at 14/1 this evening for Bill Harney, and he was settled towards rear.
He still had plenty to do from three out, but took closer order on the approach to the straight, and was ridden to challenge on the outer before the second last flight.
The son of Millenary got to the front before the last, and kept on well on the run-in to score comfortably by three lengths.
The 7/2 favourite Tintown Robin filled the runner-up spot under Phillip Enright for Vincent Halley, while Rockey Storm (6/1) ran on well to take third with Brian O'Connell in the saddle for Shay Barry. Royal Roslea (Andrew Lynch for Matthew Smith), who drifted from 10's to 16's on-course, completed the placings another neck back in fourth.
Bill Harney said afterwards: "I felt that he had 8 to 10lb in hand if Rachael could find the key to him. He was on his last chance tonight."
