Trainer Michael O’Hare completed a double at Navan today, when his Arctic Mick under Mattie Bowes, landed the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Chase.

Afterwards O’Hare, who saddled Accordion To Paddy to win the previous race, stated “its been a good day! Arctic Mick has been a consistent type and while he is a safe jumper, fell at Folkestone when I though he was going to win.”

He added “he is entered over hurdles at Fairyhouse on Saturday and will run if he comes out of this well. I’m keen to go back hurdling as he has a lower hurdle mark.”
