Aidan O'Brien relies on Anthony Van Dyck as he bids to extend his tremendous record in the Japan Racing Association Tyros Stakes at Leopardstown.

The Ballydoyle maestro has claimed this Group Three prize on a record 11 occasions, including in each of the last four years.

Rip Van Winkle (2008), Gleneagles (2014) and Churchill (2016) are among the former O’Brien-trained winners and this year the all-conquering team rely on a Galileo colt who claimed a wide-margin victory on his second start at Killarney earlier this month.

Anthony Van Dyck faces just four rivals, with Jim Bolger’s saddling both Bold Approach and Copia Verborum

The trainer's stable jockey and son-in-law Kevin Manning has opted for Bold Approach, who makes his first appearance since scoring on his racecourse debut over this course and distance at the end of May.

Ronan Whelan takes the ride on Curragh maiden winner Copia Verborum.

The Ger Lyons-trained Invasion Day bids to bounce back from a disappointing run in the Railway Stakes while James Nash’s Hammersmith completes the line-up.
