Annagh Lady wins for former PTP Champ Gordon

The Michael Winters trained Annagh Lady won the Meadowlands Hotel Beginners Chase at Tralee today, providing a fitting winner for winning owner Jimmy Gordon.

Annagh Lady, previously successful in a point to point, bumper and hurdle, completed the Jumping 'Full-Set' when jumping well to see off the challenge of Leanne by seven lengths.

Winters was unavailable for comment immediately following the win but the win was notable in that Gordon was Point To Point Leading Jockey, with 18 winners, fifty years ago this year.
