Wins at odds of 10/1 for Pincheck and 20/1 for Dance Emperor made for a 230/1 Leopardstown double for Jessica Harrington and Colm O'Donoghue.
Dance Emperor took the honours in the Bulmers Live At Leopardstown Handicap, his length and a quarter win over High Altitude prompting Mrs Harrington to say: "It was a great performance. They went very hard, Colm said, and that helped him.
"I put blinkers on him in Galway and he hated them so I went back to the cheek-pieces. He has a good run in the Curragh before Galway.
"He came from a long way back but he said they went very hard. He had a terrible draw and I said jump out, he did jump out with them but he couldn't go the pace and that's why he ended up there.
"When I saw him coming on the outside I knew he'd pick up as he's a tough little horse.
"None of the owners are here at all. They are from Cork and I think they've nearly lost faith in him.
"He's won a race now which is great and I'd say the ground was a great help. Galway was almost too soft for him and before that he was running on very firm ground and I'd say he didn't quite let himself down."
The Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Dance Emperor, placed first, as compared with its recent run. Ms. Kate Harrington, Autrhorised representative of Mrs John Harrington, reported that their change was suited by tonights good ground and a step up in trip to one mile combined with the reapplication of cheek pieces as compared with the visor worn at Galway on the 4th August which he appeared not to appreciate. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Fenagh trained by Edward P.Harty, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost her action in the early stages of this race and was pulled up.
