Zihba was the second winning newcomer at Dundalk today, as the Fozzy Stack trained colt put in a fine performance to win the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden under jockey Bill Lee. Fri 22nd Dec

He’s in good form and we’re looking forward to it. I think he’ll like the drier ground and he’s getting weight all round. We’ll make a plan for him after Sunday.

After race at Dundalk Fri, 23rd Mar, 2018 (1st)
He did it well. He's still a work in progress and he probably needed the run a bit there with all the hold-ups with the weather,. He did it quite well as he's giving the runner-up 15lb. Chris said he just gave a bit of a heave with him about two-and-a-half down and then got his second wind and ran on. He'll probably go for a Guineas trial somewhere. I'd say he wants fast ground.

After race at Dundalk Fri, 22nd Dec, 2017 (1st)

He jumped and travelled away beautiful through the race, and turning in I always thought I had Pat (Smullen, on Port Lions) covered. He picked up beautifully and went to the line well. He’s going to improve plenty and is a nice horse for the future. I only hit him one crack coming up the stands side to make sure he was in full concentration but he won with a bit in hand.
