He's been a very consistent horse for us, and was touched off by a stable-companion in a valuable handicap at Galway last year. He deserved a big pot like that. He's very effective on that ground, and it was a very good ride by Pat. He'll go back over hurdles later in the year.

He had to battle hard to win but got a good positive ride and he handled the ground well. He'll keep going as long as the ground is like this but will get his summer holidays when it dries up. He has schooled over hurdles and that's where his future will lie. It needed a horse to stay well to win today.

He did it very well. He handled that ground well and he is a very fit horse so that helped. He only won by a nose at Gowran last week and he was flat to the boards there. The race just broke for him today and fitness on that ground was a big help. We will maybe for a hurdle race with him now in a few weeks time.

It was a good battling performance by him. He ran an excellent race in Galway and was a shade unlucky. He's back in again here next Thursday, but it might be a bit soon. That's his trip. Pat gave him a powerful ride.
