Euphrasia proved too hot to handle as she made all to claim the Listed Trigo Stakes at Leopardstown.
Gary Carroll gave the four-year-old a fine ride from the front and she stuck on well in the closing stages to land the spoils at 13/2.
Tarana finished well to claim the runner-up spot but could only get within two-and-a-half lengths of the Joe Murphy-trained winner.
The Windsor Knot filly had been a shock winner of the Blue Wind Stakes at Naas earlier in the season and she showed that was no fluke with a convincing win today.
“We've always believed she's a serious filly and she's improving all the time,” said Murphy.
“She likes a little ease in the ground. Gary said she was getting a little lonely in front but when the others came to her she picked up again.
“She loves racing and I think there is more to come from her – she's 16'3.
“She wants 1m2f plus so it was great to win like that over a mile. She's in the sales at Newmarket in December but whether she goes or not I don't know.
“I can see her down the road being anything. There have been three graded winners in her pedigree in 2013 which is very rare, including a horse that was third in the 2,000 Guineas.” Stuccodor was sent off the 2/1 favourite but could only finish fourth.
