Polly's Fortune impresses in Limerick bumper rout
Polly's Fortune looked a mare capable of stepping up in grade when running out a very easy winner of the concluding Limerick Races On Facebook INH Flat Race. Thu 27th JulShoot The Blues impresses with debut success
Shoot The Blues looked a potentially exciting sort when coming from last to first to win the Limerick Post Newspaper INH Flat Race at Limerick. Sun 23rd Oct
After race at Limerick Thu, 27th Jul, 2023 (1st)
At the start nobody wanted to make the running so the plan wasn't to make the running but we were gifted an early lead. She had a very good run here last October and while she wasn't herself in Fairyhouse, we gave her a break since and she has strengthened up. She probably isn't a heavy ground filly but that ground suited her well. I'd imagine she'll improve and is versatile distance-wise and could go hurdling now . It is great for David Fenton who bred her and pre-trains horses for the syndicate and is an uncle of James Fenton who has been involved in over 50 winners, through syndicates, in the yard. James is a huge addition, he runs a tight ship with syndicates and keeps getting me winners!
