She won a big handicap on Champions Weekend in Leopardstown and we thought she wanted soft. We were really looking forward to two late runs in Naas but, how wrong did I get that as she hated the ground. Robbie said she was so relaxed and knew, when he pulled her out, knew he would get there, but it was a class ride. I had the grandmother, her mother and bred her so and it is great for a filly to get black-type - it is what you want. I sold her to Sue (Chadwick) after her run in Navan. She will stick to good ground now and I'll take baby steps. She is so relaxed she could stay further and I'll sit down and have a proper look at her upcoming races now.

I thought she was well handicapped but I was a bit worried about the draw and all the family want a bit of a dig in the ground. What an attitude she has and what a ride. She was a touch keen early on with Robbie and is still a bit green. The owner bought her for Galway but I said to her that I'm not sure she'd be a Galway type of horse.

She didn’t really cope with the undulations and turns at Punchestown but I’m delighted that she’s gone and done it today,. She’s a homebred and after her first run in Navan an owner in the yard, Sue Chadwick, came in and bought her which is brilliant for me. I get to keep her but don’t have to pay the training bills!. All the family just take time and Sue should have plenty of fun with her next year. Robbie said she’s still green and very laidback but he’d trouble pulling her up in the end.
