We were very happy after York, we saw what she was able to do. When she went by herself in York she just lost interest a little bit and then the others came around her and she started staying on after the race was over,. What she always wants is to eyeball a horse and battle. Seamus (Heffernan) was happy to make the running today if William wanted to get a lead and if William (Buick, on Ghaiyyath) was going to go on Seamus was going to go with him to keep her interested and he gave her a brilliant ride. She's one serious mare when you get into a battle with her and when you really get into a battle with her that's when you really see what she can do as you saw there today.

We are delighted to have her as a four-year-old. She’s a big, powerful mare that is full of quality, with great strength and a super mind,. She had done enough last year to go off to stud so it’s a great credit to all the lads to keep her in training. The plan made out was the three races and then see about Ascot for the Prince Of Wales. There is an autumn campaign and she has to have a break somewhere before maybe the Irish Champion and the Arc. Hopefully she will come out of today well and then we can have a think about Ascot. It’s all stuff to dream about.

Donnacha gave her a lovely ride and had her in a good position throughout the race. She stays well and should get well beyond a mile next year. Ryan said Happily struggled to quicken and she is able to quicken better on better ground. Seamus was a bit the same with September on her first run back. She will come on from that. They are all nice fillies and were all coming here with the view to coming back for the Moyglare. Clemmie will go for the Moyglare as well but not if the ground is soft. They don't ever be put together at home. That's why we run them so we all get to see them running together.

Donnacha was happy with her. They didn't go too fast early and quickened well down the straight. She was to go to Goodwood during the week (for a maiden on August 3) but it got very bad there (ground-wise). She is babyish and green still and won't mind anything from seven to a mile. That would have done her good today and she is a grand big mare.
