George bought her after she won the Group 3 (Weld Park Stakes) last year and he kindly left her with me. We didn’t have a great run with her. I was hoping she’d run in the Irish Guineas but we never got a chance to train her for it. She got a lung infection in the spring and we couldn’t get her right. We had all sorts of problems and it’s only in the last six weeks she started to come right. She was a bit unlucky in Cork where she got into all sorts of trouble. I knew that every day she was getting a bit better. There is a race at Leopardstown next Saturday that she might go for and if not this will probably be her last run for me as she might be going to the States.

Some people might be surprised by that but I’m not. She’s been showing me that all the time at home and I thought we’d nothing to lose by running here as if she got into the shake up she’d be worth a few quid. Billy said he got a bump coming out of the gate and it lit her up a bit. He was able to stick her in and get her relaxed again, and he couldn’t believe how she picked up. I own a piece of her myself along with two friends. We bought four two-year-olds with the idea of selling them, so I would be surprised if the money comes that we don’t sell. It’s a while since we had a Group-race winner on the Flat, but we didn’t have too many runners.

She's a nice filly. We were disappointed when she ran the last day but nothing went right for her. She was slow out of the gate and got bumped a few times. Gavin (Ryan) rode and said she came home really well. He liked her a lot. She had been showing us plenty at home and if she didn't do it the ones at home were in trouble!. There was a little ease in it today but I always thought she'd love fast ground because she's a real daisy cutter. She shows us plenty of boot at home and we're hoping she'll go on from there. She's a sweet filly and she's out of a mare who was second in the Chesham so there is a decent pedigree there.
