Dr Machini was put in at 8/13 this morning with Crystal Earth (11/2) a runner at stage. The latter didn't run and Dr Machini ended up drifting all the way out to 6/4 but that didn't stop her from bolting up under Patrick Mullins (his 8th bumper winning ride in a row). It was an initial winner for Ann & Alan Potts with a Willie Mullins-trained runner. Wed 11th JanA Country Girl wins Wexford finale

After race at Fairyhouse Wed, 11th Jan, 2012 (1st)
Patrick suggested the mares bumper at Aintree for her. We think she'll be far better on better ground and she's improving all the time. She's got stronger since her last run (at Wexford in October). (GC & EM)
