All his wins have been achieved on turf and while he has been running over slightly further recently, won a similar race at Tipperary last month and subsequently finished second, from a rating of 105, at Dundalk. His rider again claims 3lb. Akecheta's dam is closely related to English 2,000 Guineas winner Mark Of Esteem and while she is lightly-raced, has shown useful form. She ran well at Roscommon recently and now runs in a first-time tongue-tie. Gesture has been gelded since his last run and his best form, thus far, has been achieved on the all-weather.
