FormscanBy Donal Murphy - PYTHION came home six lengths to the good when opening his account over fences here last month and he should be able to follow-up now. The Mick Winters trained six-year-old has gradually progressed with each run over the larger obstacles and looks well-capable of accounting for his seven rivals here. Tom McGreevy, Elegant Lass and Mandarin Monarch all start off over fences, with the former given second preference. A winner at Ballinrobe in May, the Liz Doyle trained gelding has filled the runner-up spot on his last three visits to Tramore. Elegant Lass, who is a three-time winner over flights, also has a good record at the seaside venue and should give a good account of herself with Eoin Walsh aboard. Mandarin Monarch has been out of form of late, but is a nine-time winner and warrants respect with Dillon Maxwell taking a valuable 7lb off. Henry de Bromhead is represented by Cottie and Freddie Robdal and they can't be dismissed.
