FormscanBy Gary Carson - This doesn't look like the strongest maiden hurdle and IMMELMANN may be good enough to make a winning start over timber. The German-bred gelding won a Flat maiden for the yard last October and has had just one run this season, when weakening tamely in a two mile handicap at Galway recently. He is sure to be well schooled for this job. Expound has been running well on the Flat and could be a danger here. The Ulysses gelding was fourth over hurdles here back in early June. Someone's Wish has some solid runs in handicap company and despite being rated 98 he could play a part here.
A hurdle for four years old and upwards, maidens at startingWeights - 4-y-o 11st 9lbs 5-y-o and up 11st 12lbs Mares allowed 7lbs
