FormscanBy John O'Riordan - STREETS OF DOYEN may have too much staying power for main market rival Darver Star. The John McConnell-trained gelding reverts to hurdles for the first time this season, having finished fourth in a listed chase on his most recent start. In the aftermath of that run, McConnell suggested that the eight-year-old might just be a better hurdler than chaser. Darver Star was a higher rated horse over flights in his prime but has yet to prove he wants this trip. He showed a definite return to form when second at Cork last time but this is tougher. Doctor Duffy was well beaten at Cork in mid-week but is interesting here on a track where he has already proven himself. He isn't totally out of it when taking his jockeys claim into consideration.
