FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Bumper winner LIMERICK LACE ran well at Naas last month and can confirm placings with beaten rivals. A half-sister to her three winners, each handled by her trainer, she was well held by the easy winner at Naas but beat Broomfield Hall by 0.5L and Vibrance by 2.5L and can confirm that form, with the possibility of further progression. Broomfield Hall has shown consistently good hurdles form and while stepping back up to 2m4f today could suit better, the selection might be capable of more progression. Vibrance looks sure to benefit from stepping to this trip, being a staying flat mare. She was won four times at staying trips on the flat but did most of her racing on the all-weather and might appreciate a slightly sounder surface. Happy D'ex was weak in the market when well held by a smart winner at Clonmel recently and needs to improve. Emily Roebling was second at Limerick, beating returning Beth Horan into fourth, and has place claims.
