His trainer John 'Shark' Hanlon had a week to remember at Galway and his horses are clearly in fine form, with two also hitting the crossbar at Roscommon on Tuesday. The selection won a bumper at Killarney last summer and ran a nice race on his handicap debut at Limerick recently. He steps-up in trip now to three miles and with Jordan Gainford aboard, a bold bid looks likely. Successful at Kilbeggan in June, Killinure Lass is given second preference. The five-year-old did disappoint on her next start at Tipperary but bounced back to form when second most recently. A comfortable winner at Roscommon last month, Well Polly is sure to have plenty of supporters and she may very well follow-up with Rachael Blackmore booked to ride. Naturally Blond was an easy winner at Killarney last month but has never managed to follow-up after previous wins and looks opposable. Roped In, Rose Mahler and Good Man Turk (first time hood) are other leading contenders.
