Review tramore 18th Aug Rattan gave odds-on backers not a moment's worry as he dismissed the opposition in the feature Aer Lingus Regional Hurdle after Tramore got the go-ahead to race in testing conditions.Norther Bay led for most of the way in the two-mile contest but was passed by Echo Bob after jumping the third-last flight, with David Casey soon looming up threateningly on Rattan.The Willie Mullins-trained 5-6 favourite jumped alongside his market rival at the second-last and quickly swept into a decisive lead before being eased to pass the post with 20 lengths to spare.Mr Lando didn't pull up any trees in 11 starts on the level, but it was a different story when the Paul Deegan-trained gelding tackled jumps for the first time in the Style Evening At Tramore Races 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle.Danny Mullins was always travelling strongly on the 5-1 shot, who took charge going to the second-last flight and was driven out to hold Porterman by two and a quarter lengths.There wasn't a great deal to recommend Lady Olwyn on recent form in the Waterford & Tramore Racecourse Directors Mares Handicap Hurdle and she was returning from four and a half months off the track, too, but that didn't prevent her winning for the first time.Mark Bolger sent John McConnell's seven-year-old (16-1) to the front with over a circuit to go and she looked to have the race in the bag jumping the final flight before holding Willies Girl by a length and a half.Sean Byrne's mare Littletown Lass (12-1) stuck her head out for Paddy Kennedy on the run-in to grab Pretty Happy close home and win her first jumps race by a neck in the Frank Gillane Handicap Hurdle.Michael Butler built up a big mid-race lead on Eoin Doyle's 5-1 chance Alf Wright in the Anglo Printers Beginners Chase and the six-year-old had just enough in the tank to hold favourite Bundle Of Fun by half a length.
