Purview has Curragh options towards end of the month Dermot Weld's potentially exciting colt Purview is likely to make his next start at the Curragh towards the end of June. While no firm decision has been made, the son of Kingman has a couple of options. A winner of a Dundalk maiden on his racecourse debut in November, the Juddmonte owned three-year-old took a significant step forward when runner-up to Delacroix in the Group 3 Cashel Palace Hotel Derby Trial Stakes at Leopardstown last month. Weld said: “Purview is very well. He’s a big, immature horse — he’s 16.2 — no decision has been made on where he will run next. “I’ve entered him in the International Stakes over a mile and two on Derby weekend at the Curragh and he’s entered in the Irish Derby as well. “I’ll speak with the family and Barry Mahon before we make a decision.” Additional reporting by Alan Magee.
