Review naas 11th Nov Ball D'Arc proved too strong for his rivals, despite giving them all 9lb, in the Poplar Square Chase at Naas.Already a dual winner at this Grade Three level, Gordon Elliott's 6-4 favourite had the benefit of a run under his belt following his third behind Disko at Down Royal last weekend.He headed the front-running American Tom between the last couple of obstacles, with Ordinary World going with him, but Ball D'Arc is as tough as they come and ran right the way to the line for a five-length verdict.Elliott and jockey Jack Kennedy were also on the mark in the Paddy Power Fast & Convenient Phone Betting Beginners Chase courtesy of 33-1 outsider Mossback.The five-year-old was taking on rivals with much better hurdling form but held the late rally of Snow Falcon by three lengths, with Bacardys third.Last season's exciting bumper horse Red Jack made a successful start to his career over timber with a decisive three-and-a-half-length defeat of Stooshie in the Irish Stallion Owners EBF Maiden Hurdle as the 1-3 favourite.Jockey Mark Walsh followed up in the same colours of JP McManus on Early Doors in the Fishery Lane Hurdle.The Joseph O'Brien-trained 3-1 chance settled in third until setting sail for home on the run to the penultimate obstacle, and he kept favourite Meri Devie at bay by a couple of lengths.Walsh and McManus completed a treble on the card when Oscar Knight (5-1) claimed the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle.Next Destination (4-1) ran out a really impressive winner of what looked a hot Hospitality At Naas Maiden Hurdle.Willie Mullins' Champion Bumper fourth took it up before the last and stretched 13 lengths away from Someday, with Paloma Blue and Pallasator further back.Lady Ischia justified 7-4 favouritism in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares (Pro/Am) Flat Race, while 4-1 favourite First To Boogie took the Paddy Power 1800 721 821 Novice Handicap Chase.
