Review fairyhouse 20th Feb Boston Bob (4-1) burst back into life to claim top honours in the At The Races Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse.The four-time Grade One winner was given a patient ride by Ruby Walsh and showed excellent resolution to fight off fellow Graham Wylie-Willie Mullins runner On His Own by a head.However, the complexion of the race changed dramatically at the second-last, with strong-travelling favourite Mala Beach crashing out when at the head of affairs.Boston Bob's victory was the highlight of a double for Mullins, completed by Vedettariat (15-8) in the At The Races EBF Beginners Chase.Voix Du Reve was all the rage for the Winning Fair Juvenile Hurdle but had to settle for a share of second behind Newberry New (7-2).Mullins' French import had been nibbled at in the Triumph Hurdle market and was sent off the 8-15 favourite for his Irish debut but after taking the lead off Newberry New approaching the last, he found less than expected and was headed again close to the line by Jessie Harrington's game half-length victor.Tocororo finished with a rattle to dead-heat with the favourite for the runner-up berth.Winning jockey Robbie Power registered a quick double when 11-4 favourite Not For Burning hung on in the Ratcliffe Group Supporting St. Margaret's GAA Mares Handicap Hurdle.Salsify (1-2 favourite) proved far too strong for his three rivals in the Easter Festival 27th - 29th March Hunters Chase.The dual Cheltenham Festival hero took up the running around halfway and hardly had to break sweat to account for Luska Lad by seven lengths.Squouateur lead home a JP McManus one-two in the Parkview Provisions & Avenue Inn Supporting Killeavy GAC Handicap Hurdle.The Gordon Elliott-trained 6-1 chance looked like he had just joined in, he was going so well approaching the final flight, and quickened too smartly for Coolaghknock Glebe, who was a length and three-quarters adrift.Winning pointer Thebarrowman sprung a bit of a surprise in the Ian Smith Memorial (Pro/Am) Flat Race, making all for an emphatic success.
