Ronan Whelan brought 9-4 favourite Havelock Ellis with a sweeping run to take the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Handicap by two lengths, with Gavin Faulkner appearing to walk away relatively unscathed when Eretara took a crashing fall.

Conor Hoban was soon in front on Hes Our Music in the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Handicap and Pat Flynn's 3-1 favourite never looked like being caught, winning by a length and a quarter.
