Handicap.Derek O'Connor hit the front at the furlong pole on the 2-1 favourite and then kept enough up his sleeve to fend off the late challenge of Time For Mabel by half a length.Ice Cold In Alex (10-1) sprouted wings late to claim the richest race on the card, the Extra.ie Handicap.The evergreen Enter The Red appeared the likely winner when heading Snowstar in the final strides, but Niall McCullough left it even later on Ice Cold In Alex, who lunged to get the verdict by a head.Silverkode (5-2 favourite) also left it late but swooped to complete a hat-trick in the Irish Mail On Sunday Handicap.
