Review cork 31st Mar Dessie Hughes' Raz De Maree produced a strong late rally to land the feature race at Cork, the Boole Handicap Hurdle.Held up by Bryan Cooper, the 7-2 chance travelled nicely throughout, but a spectacular mover from last to first on the home turn by Shane Hassett on Let Yourself Go changed the complexion of the race.Let Yourself Go was still leading at the last, but once Raz De Maree hit top gear the result was inevitable, and though the winning distance was just three-quarters of a length, he scored a shade more cosily than the margin suggests.Andrew McNamara didn't have to get serious on Baily Green as he ran out a bloodless winner of the www.corkracecourse.ie Maiden Hurdle.Travelling much the best on the home turn, the Mouse Morris-trained 5-2 favourite jumped clear after the last and came home nine lengths in front of Marlos Moment.Bog Warrior took some time to assert his authority in the Explicit.ie Maiden Hurdle, but he eventually ran out a convincing winner.Tony Martin's 9-4 favourite made eyecatching headway on the wide outside turning for home, and gradually reeled in the leaders under Ruby Walsh before finishing strongly to score by four lengths from Eyre Apparent.Bobby John got up close home to land the CIT Su Handicap Hurdle for Francis Flood and Brian O'Connell.Favourite Molko Jack jumped into the lead at the second last, with Bobby John (20-1) back in third, but he made remorseless progress from then on and got up well after the last to record victory by a length and a quarter.Mr Eko (12-1) bounded away with the Fegentri World Championship (QR) Handicap Hurdle, while Maple Lady was sent off an unconsidered 40-1 chance for the Mardyke INH Flat Race, but she travelled beautifully throughout to score.
