Review clonmel 7th Dec Punchestown's feature meeting may have been delayed until Tuesday due to frost, but Robert Tyner and Phillip Enright found plenty to lift their spirits with a double at Clonmel.Square Sphere (11-2) kicked off the brace as she showed plenty of staying power in the testing conditions to claim the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Hurdle.Under pressure from Lady Roberta coming down to the last, Square Sphere found an extra gear to power away from the final flight and win by three and a half lengths.Tyner said: "I'm delighted with that, she's a nice mare."We'll look at a mares' handicap hurdle at Cork in a couple of weeks or the Dorans Pride Hurdle at Limerick."I'd have no problem stepping her up in trip. She had two runs in point to points, she was second in the first one and won next time.Tyner then enjoyed a stroke of fortune as Rock Street (3-1) ran out the four-length winner of the Lisronagh Beginners Chase.Favourite Killenaule Boy looked to have the measure of Rock Street coming to the last obstacle but he blundered his way through the fence to present victory to Rock Street.Saddler's Native obliged for larger-than-life trainer Oliver Brady in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle. The 9-2 winner never really looked like being beaten, cruising up challenge at the second-last before finding plenty to see off Mr Prince by a length and a half.Brady said: "He came to the front a bit soon last time and we told the jockey to hold him up a bit longer today."There are no real plans for him so we'll have to go back to the drawing board."The Dashing Doctor (6-1 joint-favourite) put up a fine staying performance to run out a seven-length winner of the Ballypatrick Handicap Chase."He has had leg trouble in the past and will be better over a longer trip," said winning trainer Andrew McNamara."We will probably go for a race at Christmas in Limerick. There is also a three-mile chase at Navan on Saturday week, or the Moloney Cup at Thurles."He's a great jumper and it was great to take the 5lb o© www.irish-racing.com
