Yuften takes another Dundalk claimer Yuften recorded his fifth victory in a claimer at Dundalk when running out a cosy winner on his first outing for trainer Noel Kelly. The eight-year-old was sent to post a 4/5 shot for the mile contest and it proved plain sailing. Shane Kelly delivered his mount to claim leader Sky Moon just inside the final furlong and despite drifting left a bit he was always in control as he posted a length-and-a-half win. Sayesse ran on to claim the runner-up spot without troubling the winner. Noel Kelly said:- “He’s a straight forward horse in this class. He had a bad draw but still had the class. “Hopefully nobody claims him and we can run him again here on Friday (in another claimer).” Shane Kelly added:- “He cut through them like a knife through butter, and I think if I couldn’t win on him I'd have to give up! “He’s a brilliant ride throughout and on the way down — he's so simple. I’d never sat on him before and hopefully I get to ride him again.” Yuften is now set to return to Denis Hogan's yard in Tipperary after being claimed back for €15,000 by James McAuley who had owned the gelding prior to today's run.
