It has been fourteen years since Willie Mullins won the Ebor Handicap at York with Sesenta but it would be no surprise to see him land Europe's richest handicap once again as he saddles two well-fancied contenders in today's big betting race, Absurde and Jackfinbar.

To celebrate the top-class action, BoyleSports are offering Irish customers €50 in free bets and money back as a free bet on all losers in the 1:50.

Sky Bet Ebor Handicap (Heritage Handicap) 3.35 York

This can go to Willie Mullins for the first time since 2009. Following an excellent run on his latest outing in a big-field premier handicap at the Galway Festival, Jackfinbar is the fancy to take the spoils. A Group 3 winner in France at Longchamp, the eight-year-old has shown potential on both outings since joining the yard.

Sweet William snuck in at the bottom of the handicap and will be a popular favourite for John and Thady Gosden who have enjoyed a successful week at the Yorkshire track and have won the Ebor twice in the last five years. The son of Sea The Stars is seeking his fourth win on the bounce.

Absurde, stablemate of Jackfinbar, who ran a cracker behind Vauban at Royal Ascot, must be considered under Frankie Dettori.

Another to consider is Hms President who has been a model of consistency this season and could go well for Alan King and in-form jockey Rossa Ryan.

Sky Bet And Symphony Group Strensall Stakes (Group 3) 1.50 York

Sir Michael Stoute’s Nostrum made an impressive seasonal comeback at Newmarket’s July course, beating Group 3 winner Embesto by three lengths. The Kingman colt struggled on soft ground at Goodwood earlier this month when beaten at odds-on, but back on better ground he can showcase his full potential and get back to winning ways under the in-form Ryan Moore.

Karl Burke saddles El Drama, who finished second behind Al Aasy at Haydock on his first start for the yard. The five-year-old hasn’t won since May 2021 but could pose a big threat to the favourite if improving on his latest outing.

Ralph Beckett’s horses are in fine form and it would be no surprise to see Jimi Hendrix in the mix here for the trainer, who is operating at a 26% strike rate over the past 14 days.

Sky Bet City Of York Stakes (Group 2) 3.00 York

Mutasaabeq drops in class from Group 1 company when he finished down the field at Royal Ascot and is likely to make the running on the Knavesmire dropping back to seven furlongs under Ryan Moore.

His Group 2 win in the bet365 Mile at Newmarket, followed by an eye-catching fifth in the Group 1 Lockinge at Newbury is excellent form and he can get his head back in front today.

Kinross will be well fancied to follow up on his victory in this race last year under Frankie Dettori for trainer Ralph Beckett and he should go well after his triumph in the Lennox at Glorious Goodwood last time.

Isaac Shelby finished second to Kinross by a neck at Glorious Goodwood and is also one to consider.
