The Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks is the main highlight on day two of the York Ebor Festival and it is a race to savour with a host of exceptional fillies heading into battle on the Knavesmire.

Below we preview the big races of the day, including a 12-1 fancy and you can get €30 in free bets with bet365 to spend on the action.

Pertemps Network Yorkshire Oaks (Fillies' And Mares' Group 1) 3:35 York

Savethelastdance is the selection in Thursday’s feature race on the Knavesmire. Aidan O’Brien’s three-year-old was last seen winning the Irish Oaks at the Curragh when she saw off Ralph Beckett’s classy filly Bluestocking.

The daughter of Galileo has been a model of consistency this season and she is well fancied to add another Group 1 to her impressive achievements.

Nassau Stakes winner Al Husn has improved with every outing this season and is seeking her fourth victory on the bounce for trainer Roger Varian. The Dubawi filly poses a huge threat if she can continue to build on that progression.

Free Wind was a beaten favourite at Goodwood last time on soft ground but shouldn’t be written off for the Gosden yard back on her favoured conditions.

Sky Bet Lowther Stakes (Fillies' Group 2) 1:50 York

Super Sprint victor Relief Rally is on an upward curve and is expected to improve again to land this Group 2. The William Haggas-trained two-year-old has recorded three wins from four starts and was beaten by just a nose in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot on her only defeat.

Looking at the biggest dangers in the field, Flora Of Bermuda was an eye-catching winner at Goodwood last time, winning by an impressive four lengths for Andrew Balding.

Beautiful Diamond finished third in the Queen Mary behind Relief Rally for trainer Karl Burke and she is highly regarded by the yard who won this contest last year.

British EBF & Sir Henry Cecil Galtres Stakes (Fillies' And Mares' Listed) 4:10 York

Scenic ran a cracker on her last outing at this track when finishing third at massive odds of 80-1 for trainer Ed Walker. The daughter of Lope De Vega can build on that to take this contest under Oisin Murphy at decent odds of around 12-1.

The way she stayed on that day suggests the step up in trip from an extended 1 mile 2 furlongs to a mile and a half will suit.

Sea Theme for William Haggas is the likely favourite and with improvement could build on her maiden win at Doncaster, while Climate Friendly looks more than capable at this level and should also be considered.
