Prettiest (15/8 out to 5/2) made a winning debut in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained daughter of Dubawi, and a first foal out of three-time Group 1 winner Alice Springs, was always in the front rank along with 2/1 favourite Lopes Gold before finding plenty on the final climb to the line to defeat that one by three quarters of a length.

Agartha (11/4) was a further length away in third.

The winner, who showed a willing attitude with head bowed when asked for her effort, holds a Group 2 entry at the Curragh on Irish Derby weekend.

“Her homework suggested that she was ready to start,” said winning rider Seamie Heffernan.

“I was keen to canter down to the start in front as that's the way I wanted to ride her, forward.

“I'd say she's a nice filly and she has a beautiful pedigree.

“They won't all improve and progress as you'd like but she's built like a two-year-old so she should progress into being a nice two-year-old.”
