What Adaay gets her turn Dylan Browne McMonagle has had a good record since his apprentice days when teaming up with trainer Pat Martin and the pair combined to win the first division of the Peadar Kearney's Pub Handicap with 4/1 favourite What Adaay. Runner-up twice on 'The Hill' last year, the four-year-old sat mid-division before being produced to lead over a furlong out and kept on well to beat Rampage by a neck. Martin, who also owns the winner, commented: “The rain was a help and once it came we were conscious that we had to ride her to get the trip. It looked like she didn’t get home in Limerick the last day. “Unfortunately I didn’t put cheekpieces on her the last day and I think she needs them. Dylan said she really needed them today because when she got to the front she idled. “We were very conscious that we were 5lb wrong. We’re 42 and were running here off 47 so you would be surprised a horse with that profile would be favourite as these races are so competitive. “Bellewstown has been very lucky for me over the years but it’s been a while since we had a winner here.” Quotes from Alan Magee
