West provides Dullea with his first double After winning the second with Just Get Cracking James Dullea doubled up (double coming in at 20/1) in the fourth as West Of The Edge justified favouritism in the Anti-Pets Veterinary Clinic Handicap Hurdle. Dullea, who trains in Bandon, has an excellent record around at Tramore with seven of his twelve winners to date coming at the Co Waterford venue. West Of The Edge was sent off the 2/1 favourite for this two mile five furlong contest after winning a handicap chase over the course on his last start. Back over hurdles today he was prominent throughout under Declan Queally and gained a narrow led at the eighth. He stayed on well when ridden before the second last and went on to score by two and a quarter lengths. Change The Rules (12/1) ran a fine race to finish second under Kevin Sexton for Aengus King while Arquebusier (9/2) was a further four and a quarter lengths back in third under David Casey for Arthur Moore. Dullea said afterwards: "I'm delighted with him. I knew the ground would suit him and that the trip would be no problem. We might go back chasing with him now, we will see. If there was a chase back here it would be great. "We wanted to go for the last race today but he got too much weight for winning the last time so this race suited us. I think he will stay chasing from now on. "It is my first double and I'm delighted. We've been very lucky here but I suppose we kind of gear them for here so it goes hand and hand."
