The Racing Rocks At Leopardstown Handicap was claimed by the Dermot Weld trained Endless Expanse in the hands of stable jockey Pat Smullen.
Smullen who made all aboard the Red Ransom filly showed good battling qualities in the closing stages to hold off the 2/1 favourite Strandfield Lady by half a length.
Winning trainer Weld said afterwards: “She got a nice ride from Pat [Smullen] and she battled well.”
“We’ll look for another handicap now.”
