The Dermot Weld trained, Moyglare Stud owned Va Pensiero maintained her two race unbeaten run when landing the Godolphin Student Initiative Handicap at Leopardstown today, scoring under the trainer's stable jockey Pat Smullen.
The daughter of High Chapparal followed up her Dundalk February maiden win in game fashion and in the end scored a three parts of a length win over Prove The Point
Afterwards Weld stated “it was a very good ride by Pat; he was very powerful, and the filly was very brave and battled well."
