Welcome success for Bunyan with Dreams Delivered Dreams Delivered (20s into 14s) finished off best to land the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale Nursery Handicap for Darren Bunyan and Chris Hayes (deputising for Leigh Roche - rider administration error) at Fairyhouse. Along the inner in first time blinkers the successful Morpheus gelding, out of maiden company for the first time on outing number four, got the better of Tar Heel by a length and a quarter. “We were anxious waiting on this one,” said Bunyan, saddling his first winner since in over a year. “He's a grand horse, very straight-forward, and is owned by a syndicate that has been very lucky for me. There is only one horse, so far, that hasn't won for them. “Fairyhouse is always a lucky track for me as well so I suppose it was all lined up for him today. “Chris said that he's a horse that is still going to improve. He was rolling around and still green. “He goes on any ground bar extremes. We just put the blinkers on to try and knock a little bit of that greenness out of him today. I'm glad we did because even with them he was rolling a bit on the rails. “My horses were all sick last year. We've had a fierce amount of placed horses this year, hitting the crossbar regular. “Hopefully that changes our luck because they are in good form and running well. The ones that are capable of running well are running well. “Like all mine he's there for sale but if he's not sold he's a horse you could see climbing a bit in the handicap before the handicapper has him, hopefully.” D.P. McDonogh, rider of Abogados trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount raced very freely. (GC & EM)
