Pretty Valira a granddaughter of Yorkshire Oaks heroine Condessa and a half sister to De Valira and Valiramix showed that breeding in her performance with a two and a half length success in the Suir Valley Flat Race under Katie Walsh in the Seamus Ross colours.
Winning trainer Ted Walsh was clearly delighted and he said: "She was bought to be a broodmare. She did it well. She jumps well but she'll be raced lightly as she was bought for breeding."
