Norman Williamson revealed today he has yet to solve his enviable Victor Chandler Handicap Chase poser.
The jockey has to choose whether to ride Direct Route or Nordance Prince, who are two of the top three in the betting for the Ascot contest a week on Saturday.
He is the regular partner of the Howard Johnson-trained Direct Route, 7-2 joint second favourite for the race with the sponsors.
But Williamson is also first-choice rider for Venetia Williams, whose Nordance Prince tops Victor Chandler's betting at 11-4 after winning last month's Castleford Chase at Wetherby.
"No decision has yet been made about which horse I will ride," the Irishman said.
