Misty Millie completed a treble at Bellewstown for Colin Keane, as she took the first divide of the Clean My Office By www.outsourcesupport.ie Handicap.
Keane was stepping in for Shane Crosse on this Garvan Donnelly trained seven-year-old, with Crosse stood down for the day after a fall on the gallops this morning.
Earlier successful on Ecliptical and A Step Too Far Keane was originally due to partner Conor Hogan in this mile and a half contest, but switched to Misty Millie after his mount was taken out due to the going.
Sent off a 6/1 chance, Misty Millie was settled in mid-division and took closer order in fourth from the three furlong pole.
Ridden to challenge on the outer over a furlong from home, she soon got to the front and kept on well in the closing stages, going on to register a two length success. Loudest Whisper who was returned the 7/4 favourite, finished second under Shane Foley, while Clonard Abbey (17/2) was another half a length back in third.
Donnelly said afterwards: "The ground and the trip suited her. It's a long time since she won on the flat but she's entitled to that off her mark.
"We're going to mix it with her and she has a mark over fences of 109 as well. She's versatile and tough out.
"I'm only about ten minutes from the track so it's great to have a winner here. We've had a good bit of luck here over the years.
"Her owner Mick O’Neill is quite elderly but lives for racing and would love to be here. He comes to see her every week. He was offered a good bit for her when she won a maiden at Navan on her second run but he enjoys it too much to sell her."
