Valentana has really blossomed for Willie McCreery this month and completed her hat-trick with a convincing success in the TheTote.com Handicap at Roscommon.
Billy Lee settled mid-division on his mount before making ground up from the two pole.
The 3/1 favourite was switched out to led at the furlong pole and kept on well in the closing stages to record a two-length success over Gentil J
The winner was following up on victories at Tipperary and Killarney.
“She's grand and likes it there. The hustle and bustle here suits her,” said McCreery.
“She's very relaxed at the minute and enjoying her racing. You'd be worried what the handicapper will do and there was nothing to enter her in this week just in case. We'll see what happens and looks for something similar.
“Dropping in has been the key to her. She is coming racing and loving racing. She's gone very professional from a filly that worried a bit to enjoying it. She's on a bit of a thrive.”
