Ucanchoose makes breakthrough at Tipp Ucanchoose gained a deserved victory in the five furlong handicap at Tipperary after a couple of runner-up efforts. Wayne Lordan produced his mount to lead inside the final furlong and he stayed on well to score by three-parts of a length from Faynita. "That's deserved after two seconds. I might run him over 7f at Galway on Monday week to give the owner a day out. I'm not sure he'll get the trip," said trainer Andrew Slattery. "He's a good consistent sort and the softer the better for him. We felt there was improvement in him and he's a winner now - that's the main thing."
