Two collects in three-miler Tiger Twenty Two confirmed the promise of his comeback run last month when powering home to claim the three-mile handicap hurdle at Bellewstown in convincing style. Gordon Elliott's charge had stayed on well to finish third on his return to action at Limerick 16 days ago and was sent to post the 3/1 favourite today. Davy Russell tracked the front-running Allduckonodinner throughout the three-mile contest before sending his mount on at the second last. The Authorized gelding stayed on stoutly from the final flight to record a three-and-three-parts-of-a-length victory. So Enjoy just prevailed for the runner-up spot at the line from the long-time leader. Assistant trainer Ian Amond said:- “That was grand. He was probably a bit unlucky the last day and he's won well there. “The horse gave him a nice lead into it and he probably doesn't do a whole lot when he gets there so it suited him to have a lead. “Looking at the way he won hopefully there should be another day in him.”
