The easy to back newcomer All India (from 6s to 9s on-course) finished second under Michael Hussey for Joseph O'Brien, while King Jeremy (12s to 8s) was a neck back in third for Gary Halpin and Johnny Feane. Leigh Roche was aboard the winner, and he said afterwards: "I would be very disappointed coming here today if he didn't win. "He had a good run in Galway and the Weld horses are back in form. I picked it up at the top of the hill, he done it very easy and had plenty left in the tank. "He had the visor on him in Galway to travel that bit easier, but he is a genuine horse, he tries hard and just didn't need it today."
